Eileen J. Howell

Eileen J. Howell, 87, of Lakeside-Marblehead, OH passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. Eileen was born October 1, 1937 in Fremont, OH the daughter of the late John and Juanita (Hough) Lemmerman. She married James E. Howell on April 12, 1958 and he preceded her in death on February 17, 2010. Eileen was a longtime member of Lakeside United Methodist Church where she was the financial secretary for many years. She worked at Huntington National Bank and at the Hotel Lakeside. She was a member of the Heritage Foundation.

Surviving are her daughters: Deborah L. (Kent) Kokomoor of Bowling Green, Bonnie Howell of Maumee, Patricia (Ted) Nelson of Munroe Falls, OH; eight grandchildren; sisters: Wilma Deissler of Meadville, PA, Helen Heyman of Tiffin; brother: Gilbert Lemmerman of Helena, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: James; son: James D. “Duke” Howell; grandsons: James Howell, Andrew Howell; sister: Rosalyn Cowdrey and brother: John Lemmerman.

Services will be conducted 12:00 noon, December 23, 2024 in the Chapel at Fountain Cemetery, 702 VanBuren St., Fostoria, OH 44830. Memorial contributions may be given to Lakeside United Methodist Church Endowment Fund, 450 Central Ave. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH 43440.
