Edwin R. Sturgill

Edwin "Ed" Sturgill, 67 of Elmore, OH passed unexpectedly Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Mercy- St. Charles Hospital, Oregon from multiple physical issues. He was born in Toledo, OH February 4, 1951 to Donald and Bonnie (Frost) Sturgill. Along came their three boys: Ed, Jim & Bob, they made up the heart of that family. Ed was a proud 1969 graduate of Waite High School. He was gratified to be in and staunchly defended law enforcement; held memberships in the: Ottawa County Shrine Club, Genoa Lodge #433 F.& A.M., and Eagles of Rossford. He was a recognized vocalist for various local bands since the age of 16, lifelong "Browns" Fan, loved shooting pool, and most importantly being involved with his family and friends. Now learning to survive him include his wife Terri (Reed), mother Bonnie, daughter Nikki Sebring, brother Jim, and "in-laws" Robin & Ed Scharer and Rodger Reed. Those at the gates of heaven to welcome Ed in, were father Don, and brother Bob. An Open House/ Time for Sharing a Celebration of Eds Life will be held from 2 - 7pm Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the American Legion Hall, 279 Veterans Ave, Elmore, OH 43416.
