Edwin E. Dailey

Edwin E. Dailey, 85 of Oak Harbor, died unexpectedly at his home Sunday, August 29, 2010. He was born March 25, 1925 in Danbury Township, Ohio to the late Robert E. & Ida (Rouse) Dailey. He was a graduate of Danbury High School. On January 9, 1960 he married the former LaDonna J. Rimelspach who preceded him in death August 21, 2010. Ed retired in 1985 from DARCOM Headquarters in Alexandria, VA where he was a Communications/Resource Specialist. He was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor and was a past Mason. Survivors include his son Fred (Debra) Dailey of New Haven, IN; and grandchildren Renee & Elizabeth Dailey. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Ivan, Fred, Bill, Bob, Don, and Paul Dailey; and sisters: Mabel Vining, Betty Thomas, Mary Sauvey, and Mildred Kaznoch. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor where the family will be present from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be at 11am Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial Contributions may be given to a charity of the Donor's Choice.
