Edward H. Rohrer

Edward H. Rohrer, 62 of Oak Harbor, OH died Monday, May 14, 2012 at his home. He was born August 24, 1949 in Vandalia, OH to Clarence and Mary (Schaeffer) Rohrer. He was a 1967 graduate of West Milton High School and received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Letourneau University in 1975. He was a veteran of the United States Army. On December 27, 1974 he married the former Peggy Coolidge. Ed retired as an Engineer from Davis Besse in 2010. He was a member of Bethel United Brethren Church, Elmore. He was also a committee member of Boy Scouts of America, Troop #316 in Oak Harbor. Ed enjoyed being with his family and riding motorcycles. Survivors include his wife of 37 years Peggy of Oak Harbor, sons: Carl (Donna) Wright of Diana, TX, Thomas (Jamie) Rohrer of Columbus, OH, and James Rohrer of Houston, TX; mother Mary Rohrer of Owosso, MI; step- sister Jeannie (Chris) Sprink of Owosso; and grandchildren Kara, Nicole, and Kyle Wright. He was preceded in death by his father and step-brother John Rohrer. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Services will begin at 11am Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Bickelhaupt officiating.
