Edward B. Bahnsen

Edward B. Bahnsen, 85, of Marblehead, OH passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025. He was born September 14, 1939 in Fremont, OH the son of Clarence “Bum” and Myrtle (Kilhlken) Bahnsen. He served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He married Janet Kosa on October 3, 1964. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 2001 after 38 years.

Surviving are his wife: Janet; son: Jeff (Rachel) Bahnsen of Marblehead, OH; daughter: Pam Hallier of Marblehead, OH; grandchildren: Lauren (Andrew) McMurray, Heather (Chad) Brunk, Brandon Bahnsen; great-grandchildren: Brilynne Sloan, Bradley Sloan, Kinslee McMurray, Kaisley McMurray, Kendall McMurray, Cora Brunk, Briar Brunk, Emma Ammerman; sisters: Marcia Dunham of Huron, OH, Cyndi Yingling of Wolverine, MI. brother in law John "Butch" (Valerie) Kosa of Marblehead, OH and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ed loved hunting, fishing and snowmobiling along with listening to the Cleveland Guardian games. He enjoyed watching his grandkids and great grandkids sporting events. He coached little league baseball and JR high football for years.

Private memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Interment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead, OH. Donations may be given to Danbury Athletic Department. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.neideckercrosserpriesman.com .
