Edward A. Stevens, age 82, of Catawba Island, OH, died on June 21, 2021 at Otterbein Senior Life Community after a brief illness. Eddie was born and raised in Quincy, MA where he grew up in a loving family in a vibrant and close-knit community. His work as a system analysist for the U.S. Government brought him to Ohio where he became a 40-year resident of Port Clinton, OH. He leaves behind his long-time companion, Anne Ashworth, of Catawba Island; his siblings, Bryan J. Stevens of Boston, MA and Claire Petrillo of Yardley, PA. He is also survived by four nieces, three nephews, and a former spouse, Delores Oleksa of Sandusky, OH. Eddie was a graduate of Stonehill College located in Easton, MA and an Army Veteran. In addition, he was a small business owner and a salesman. Eddie had a zest for life, an appreciation and love for people, nature, and especially, Lake Erie. He enjoyed maintaining gardens and fishing. He was a nice guy. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at a later date.
