Edmund K. Goedde Sr.

Edmund Karl Goedde Sr, 96 of Oak Harbor, OH died Monday, August 28, 2023 at his home under Hospice Care. Edmund was born January 30, 1927 in Germany, where he attended school and later enrolled into trade education. He then fought in World War II as a foot soldier for the German Army. When he came to the United States, he worked for Libby Glass in Toledo, OH until his retirement in 1988. He was brought up in the Lutheran Faith, was a past Mason, and loved fishing on Lake Erie.

Survivors include his partner Katie Parman; sons: Gunter (Diny) Goedde, Eckhart Goedde, and Edmund (Cheryl) Goedde Jr; many grandchildren & great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Angelika Evans and grandson Brian Evans.

There will be no services for Edmund as cremation has taken place through Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel.
