Eddie D. Evans

Eddie D. Evans, 69, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away at home, Monday, June 24, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born January 7, 1950 in Toledo, OH the son of Truman and Edival (Rice) Evans. He married Angelika Goedde on May 30, 1970 and she survives. Eddie was a United Stated Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He worked at Chrysler and later at Martin Marietta. He was a lifetime member of Oak Harbor Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8732 and John A. Fader American Legion Post 114. Surviving are his wife: Angie; daughter: Tammy (Mark) Williams of Genoa; grandchildren: Brennen Williams, Caleb Williams, Kaiden Williams; sisters: Nancy McCloskey, Betty Evans, Beatrice Kroggel; special nieces and nephews: Kendra (Jonathon) Foust, Greg (Patti) Evans, Dawn Terrill and many more nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Brian Evans and brothers: Gerald and Donald Evans. Private funeral services were held with burial at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Muscular Dystrophy Association or Multiple Sclerosis Association. Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service is handling the arrangements.
