Dylan Drake Everett, 22 of Oak Harbor, OH passed on to live eternity with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, March 29, 2022. He was born January 20, 2000 in Fremont, OH the son of Dale and Marisha (Taylor) Everett and the younger brother of D.J. He was a 2018 graduate of Oak Harbor High School, then enrolled at Owens Community College where he earned his General Motors ASEP Certification. He was currently employed at Baumann Chevy Dealership as a certified technician where he quickly moved into the position of a Service Writer. Dylan loved skateboarding and snowboarding with his brother and his friends. He had also become quite the artist over the years. He spent his free time with his family and friends playing games, watching movies, and camping. In his youth he was involved in karate and Boy Scouts. While in High School he participated in various music groups where he could show his passion for playing the guitar as well as being involved with the school plays & musicals. He was baptized and a confirmed member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. He was a joy in everyone’s life, bringing smiles with his wit. Dylan made a friend no matter where he went. He was always a phone call away to help family and friends. Our lives will be forever changed with his loss. Survivors include his parents Dale & Marisha Everett of Oak Harbor, OH; brother D.J. (Sarah) Everett of Perrysburg, OH; paternal grandfather Mark Everett of Elmore ; paternal grandmother Joann Haley of Marblehead, OH; his Godparents Rick & Donna Key, aunts & uncles Mary (Mike) Morse, Reba (John) Patterson, Troy (Michelle) Taylor, and Theresa (Ron) Brooker, great-aunts & uncles Cheryl Everett, Reba (Rob) Harmon, Dick (Judy) Whaley, David (Sally) Everett, and many loving cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Marsha Karue; great-uncle Paul Everett, and great-grandparents Glendon & Lois Everett. Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 1 – 9pm at the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am on Friday, April 8, 2022 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor with Pastor Becky Bolander officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church or the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation.
