Dustin J. "Dutt" Doust

Dustin J. "Dutt" Doust, 35 of Port Clinton, OH lost his battle with addiction on January 26, 2018 at his home. He was born June 16, 1982 in Port Clinton, OH to Gerald Doust and Peggy (Nix). He was a 2000 graduate of Oak Harbor High School and received his Associates Degree in Computer Application. He was self- employed as a custom I.T. specialist. Dutt enjoyed being outside. He loved fishing, camping, hunting and was a certified scuba technician. Survivors include his parents: Gerald (Nancy Schnabel) Doust of Genoa, OH and Peggy (Rex) Montgomery of Curtice, OH; brother Donovan (Danielle Colbert) Doust and his nieces Alaina and Lukah of Livonia, MI; paternal grandmother Joyce Doust of Oak Harbor; step- siblings Gabe Schnabel and Clarissa Jankowski; girlfriend Amanda Fredrick and her sons: Ashton Nicho, Adon, and Joaquin; Aunts: Joyce (Rich) Gates, Nina (Roger) Aldridge, Linda Nix, Cindy (Ross) Aldridge, Carolyn Jessee and Uncle Jeff (Shawn) Doust; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ezekiel Nix and Niler (James) McCormick; paternal grandfather Joseph Doust; and 4 Uncles. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem Twp. Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial Contributions may be made to Sober Living House, Port Clinton.
