Duane E. "Ed" Zilles

Duane E. "Ed" Zilles, 79, of Bennett, Co and formerly of Port Clinton, OH died Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in Bennett, Co. he was born March 31, 1938 in Michigan, the son of Donald and Dorothy Zilles. He married Dellarose A. "Dee" Knott on June 22, 1979 and she preceded him in death on August 27, 2015. Mr. Zilles was a marine mechanic. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. Surviving are his son: Donald Zilles of Bennett, CO; granddaughter: Alexis (John) Custer of Oak Harbor; great-grandchild: Weston Custer. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton where visitation will be held Monday from 2:00 -4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm.
