Dottie Mae Smith

Dottie M. Smith, 61, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday May 8, 2007 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. She was born July 4, 1945 to Mary Morrisette in Port Clinton, Ohio. Dottie enjoyed playing bingo and needlepoint. She loved spending time with her large host of family and friends. She could always be counted on to give a smile. She will be greatly missed. To cherish her memory she leaves her parents Milton D. and Mary Morrisette; brothers Ron Smith and Kenneth (Carolyn) Morrisette of Fremont, John (Ida) Matthews, Jr. and Michael Matthews of Sandusky; sisters Essie Cole and Kathleen Matthews of Port Clinton and Geneva Matthews and Audree Westbrook of Sandusky and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth L. (Marzie) Smith. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. Monday until the time of services at 1 p.m. Monday at the Grace United Church of God and Christ, 1229 East State Street, Port Clinton.
