Dorothy M. Weirich

Dorothy M. Weirich, 86, of Genoa, Ohio, and formerly of Woodville, Ohio, and Toledo, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Bay Park Community Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. Dorothy was born on June 17, 1924, a daughter of John & Jennie (Szarletta) Grycza. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Point Place, and was a former employee of Reicher Stamping, Toledo, retiring in 1988. Dorothy’s first husband, James Cornelison, died in 1957. She married Carl E. Weirich in August of 1957, and he preceded her in death in March of 1981. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Pam (Howard) Rickabaugh, Woodville, and Frances McDuffee, Toledo. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Laurie (Jeff) Burlen, Diana (John) Blausey; great-grandchildren, Christopher Maye, Joshua Blausey, Ashleigh Blausey, Sarah Blausey, and Brandon Blausey. Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. Friday at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Genoa Care Center or St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
