Dorothy L. Engler

Dorothy L. Engler, 94, of Port Clinton, died August 13, 2012 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born Dec. 15, 1917 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of William C. and Blanche (Lewis) Faust. On July 11, 1943 she married Gaylord Engler whom she met at U. S. Gypsum where she worked as a secretary. Mr Engler preceded her in death on May 26, 2009. Mrs. Engler was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton where she was active in the Mary Martha Circle and also a member of the Port Clinton Yacht Club. Surviving are her sons, Thomas Lee Engler of Port Clinton and Robert Lewis (Donna) Engler of San Francisco, CA; and great granddaughter, Arianna. She was preceded in death by her son, William Engler; granddaughter, Alexandra Engler; and brother, William C. Faust. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH with visitation at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Additional visitation will be held Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, OH. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
