Dorothy E. Morgan, 93, of Marblehead, OH died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. She was born June 16, 1918 in Richmond, OH the daughter of Edgar and Mary (Lewis) Purviance. She married Chester Morgan on Dec. 31, 1940 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 31, 2000. Mrs. Morgan was a teacher in the North Royalton High School retiring in 1982. She was a 1940 graduate of Ohio University and received her masters degree from Kent State in 1963. She was a Phi Beta Kappa; Kappa Phi and a past state president of AAUW. Surviving are her son: Robert Morgan of Marblehead; daughters: Cherie (James) Kreutzberg of Wisconsin, Donna Chidsey of Parma Heights, OH and granddaughter: Karen Kreutzberg. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
