Dorothy E. Mackey

Dorothy E. Mackey, 82, of Port Clinton, OH, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born March 4, 1924 in Fremont, OH, a daughter of the late Spencer and Rose (Hawk) Bleu. She married Henry Ford Mackey on May 23, 1943 and he preceded her in death on Mar. 1, 2005. Mrs. Mackey was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, traveling and she loved animals. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. Surviving is her sister: Mary Rhiel of Fremont; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Richard, Edward and Morris Bleu; and sister, Helen Cooper. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, April 8, 2006 at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where friends may call on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ottawa County Humane Society or Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH.
