Dorothy Bell Mullens

Dorothy Bell Mullens, 82, of Port Clinton, OH, died Monday, April 9, 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born January 26, 1925 in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late William & Stella (Keaton) Murnahan. On December 2, 1952 she married Herbert D. Mullens and he preceded her in death in March of 1987. Dorothy was retired from the U.S. Gypsum Company. She was an active member of the Church of God. Dorothy loved garage sales, flea markets and traveling. She is survived by her sister, Mary (Charles) Wilson of Sandusky, OH; sisters-in-law, Marie Wilburn of Kentucky, Alberta Mullens of Michigan, and Millie Phelps of Port Clinton. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 Thursday at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday. The Rev. Richard Mills will officiate, and interment will follow in Christy Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
