Dorotha V. Weinberger

Dorotha V. (Terry) Weinberger, 87, of Marblehead, OH, and formerly of Willoughby Hills, OH, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. Mrs. Weinberger was born on November 5, 1918 in Linesville, PA, a daughter of Fred & Olive (Lisk) Terry. In 1952, she married Marvin L. Weinberger, and he preceded her in death on August 31, 2006. Mrs. Weinberger was a retired secretary, working for TRW in Cleveland for many years. She loved roses and tended them at her home. Mrs. Weinberger was a member of Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple in Beachwood, OH. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Dunwiddie, Catawba Island; step-son, Barry Hugh Weinberger, NY; step-daughter, Joyce Weinberger (Dr. Robert) Flescher, CT; grandchildren, Dr. Andrew Michael Flescher, CA, Dr. Ellen Flescher Foxman, and Dr. Ethan Bradley Foxman, both of CT; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Theodore Foxman, and Samuel Holland Foxman; nieces, Patricia Brandt, Brunswick, OH, Helen Baechle, North Olmsted, OH, and Michaelene Hollman, Medina, OH; she was preceded in death by her mother, Olive (Lisk) Terry Weiberg; step-father, Henry Weiberg; and her sister, Helen (Michael) Desmond, brother-in-law, Robert Dunwiddie, and a niece, Kathleen Weekly. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Mayfield Cemetery, 2749 Mayfield Road, Cleveland Hts., OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ottawa County Humane Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
