Donna R Myers

Donna R. Myers, 90, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday July 27, 2010 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center. She was born September 20, 1919 in Ottawa, the last surviving child of the late Charles N and Sarah E. (Disher) Easton. Donna was a licensed LPN and was employed in the office of Dr. Rheil and Coon, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, sang in the church choir, a member of the United Methodist Women and the Huldah Circle. On September 23, 1937 she married Lucas P. Myers and he preceded her in death on October 5, 2002. Donna is survived by her daughter Mary Beth (Tom) Gill of Springhill, FL; sons Walter (Susan) Myers of Toledo, Gary (Gail) Myers of Fayetteville, GA. And James (Andrea) Myers of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren Laura Myers, Andrew Myers, Timothy Myers, Christopher Myers, Paul Myers, Benjamin Myers, Daniel Myers, Stacie Myers, Jennifer Gill and Sarah Steele; eight great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, Donna was preceded in death by her sisters Agnes Clark, Alta Witt, Mary Lockard, Thelma Baaske, Beatrice Ford, Mildred Druyor and Alvesta Easton and brothers George, Orville, Floyd and Carlton Easton. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton and from 10 am Saturday until services at 11 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 135 Adams Street, Port Clinton. The Rev. Bruce Batchelor-Glader will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church or the Charity of one's choice.
