Donna Mae Brough

Donna Mae Brough, 94 of Oak Harbor, OH died Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at her home under Hospice Care. She was born March 13, 1930 in Woodville, OH to the late Edward and Margaret (Taylor) Michel. On July 16, 1949 she married Curtis Brough who preceded her in death on June 24, 2001. Donna retired from the Ottawa County Engineers Office as Deputy Secretary.

Donna was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor where she was active in bereavement dinners. She was also past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #114, Oak Harbor and active with the Ottawa County Shrine “Onion Drive”. She also enjoyed spending time with her special companions, wiener dogs Marilyn and Samantha.

Survivors include her daughter Connie Snyder; sons: David (Tina) Brough and Michael (Cynthia) Brough, all of Oak Harbor; grandchildren: Jason (Angie) Lewis, Jenny (Chris) Smith, Leslie (Frank) Pavluk, Lindsay (Denton) Goodin, Cody (Gabriela) Brough and Connor Faunce; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and brother-in-law Randall Cook. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: DeLaurel Michel, Roland Michel, Gloria Paul, and Marilyn Cook; and son-in-law Frank Snyder.

Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2024 from 3-7pm at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Private Graveside Services will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
