Donald R. Phillips, Sr.

Donald R. Phillips, Sr. 64, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 at his home. He was born April 10, 1959 in Sandusky, OH the son of Willie and Blanche (Jordan) Phillips, Sr. He married Deborah Kay Neff on November 4, 1983. Don served his country in the National Guard from 1979 – 1985. He previously worked at Catawba Galley and Wild Wings.

Surviving are his wife: Debbie; children: Donald (Melissa Mazzei) Phillips, Jr. of Tallmadge, OH, Georgia Pollard of Port Clinton, April (Ronald Royster) Pollard of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Joan (Keith Yates) Heintz, Daniel Heintz, Chase Shedron, Emma Phillips; great-grandchildren: Phoenix Yates, Michael Yates; sister: Judith Wheeler of Port Clinton, OH. He was preceded in death by his father: Willie Phillips, Sr.; mother: Blanche Phillips-Dickson; brothers: Willie Phillips, Jr., Kelly Phillips, Logan Dickson, William Phillips; sister: Rebecca Mitchell.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, November 17, 2023.
