Donald Lee Netcher

Donald Lee Netcher, 65 of Elmore, OH died Friday, March 19, 2021 at his home under Hospice Care. He was born June 26, 1955 at home in Elmore to the late Harland and Lois (Stein) Netcher. He was a 1973 graduate of Woodmore High School. On September 9, 1977 he married the former Patty Roepke and she survives. Don retired in 2019 from Crown Battery. Prior to Crown, he worked for 31 years at Armstrong Air Conditioning. He was a member of St. Paul - Trinity United Methodist Church, Elmore. He enjoyed cheering on the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed going to the races, snowmobiling and spoiling his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Patty of Elmore, OH; daughters: Julie (Samuel) Pietrangelo of Medina, OH and Carrie (Derek) Schlea of Britton, MI; grandchildren: Ava and Ian Pietrangelo and Everett, Henry, and Levi Schlea; siblings: Ruth Ann (Denny) Despones, Jim (Linda) Netcher, and Marilyn (Bill) Pierce. All Services for Don will be handled privately by the family with Burial to be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio, American Cancer Society, or St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church.
