Donald L. Hoelzle

Donald Louis Hoelzle, 99, of Oak Harbor, OH died Sunday, April 4, 2010 at the Genoa Care Center, Genoa, OH. He was born December 23, 1910 in Oak Harbor, OH to the late Louis and Minnie (Schroeder) Hoelzle. On April 17, 1948 he married the former Lucille M. Brown who preceded him in death May 15, 2009. Donald worked for the Erie Army Depot in Port Clinton and retired from Moore Business Forms, Fremont, OH. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor and was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. Survivors include his 3 nieces, Patricia Cox, Carole Jones, and Sandra Andersen. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church, Genoa Care Center, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
