Donald H. Nason

Donald H. Nason, 91, of Port Clinton, died Monday, March 26, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 13, 1920 in Birmingham, OH the son of Leonard and Elsie (Barber) Nason. He married Geraldine A. Lucas on May 21, 1948 and she survives. He worked for Matthews Boat Co. until his retirement in 1967. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. Surviving are his wife: Geraldine; sons: Richard (Liz) Reihling of Columbus, Charles (Dorothea) Nason of Port Clinton, Robert Nason of Port Clinton, Edward (Sue) Nason of Florida, Francis (Robyn) Nason of Oak Harbor; daughters: Carolyn A. (Ray Vontelo) Castle of Sandusky, Anna M. (Patrick) May of Port Clinton; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; sister: Blanche Greenless. He was preceded in death by his brother: Laland Nason and sister: Beatrice Cristensen. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside--Marblehead, OH where visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Father Dan Ring will officiate. Burial will follow in Sackett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice or the family.
