Donald H. Bower

Donald H. Bower, 59, of Millbury, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. Don was born in Toledo on November 23, 1951, a son of Donald M. & Mildred (Tawney) Bower. He was a retired clerk for the United States Postal Service, working at the downtown Toledo Post Office for 30 years. Don enjoyed fantasy baseball and football, and served as treasurer of a fantasy league. On May 14, 1982, he married the former Leslie Kimball, and she survives. Also surviving are his children, Lindy S. Cherry, Millbury, Donald R. Bower, Northwood, Ohio, and Christopher P. Bower, Toledo; grandchildren, Kevin, Nickolas, and Molly Cherry; father-in-law, Paul Kimball, Elmore; sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie & Rick Krotzer, Elmore, and Curt & Deb Kimball, Genoa, Ohio. A private interment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
