Donald F. Mulinix, Jr

Donald F. Mulinix Jr., 86 of Oak Harbor, OH died Monday, December 19, 2022 at his home under Hospice Care. He was born May 9, 1936 in Toledo, OH to the late Donald F. Mulinix Sr. and Ruth (Keiser). On March 28, 1959 he married the former Shirley Labounty and she survives. Don was a steam fitter for Local 50 out of Toledo retiring in 1998. He loved to ride his motorcycles, wood working, cattle farming, and had a great sense of humor. He truly enjoyed being with his family and did extensive genealogy for the Mulinix family.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years Shirley; sons Mark (Rhonda) Mulinix Sr. and David Mulinix all of Oak Harbor; 8 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, special people and cousins; and daughter-in-law Cindy Mulinix. He was also preceded in death by his mother Helen Mulinix, son Jack Mulinix, and daughter-in-law Sue Mulinix, sisters: Virginia Price, Darlene Skiver, Mary Mulinix, and Stephanie, and brother Bill Leuck.

Private Graveside Services and burial will be in Rusha Cemetery, Oak Harbor under the direction of Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider Juvenile Diabetes Association, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
