Dolores E. Gaydosh

Dolores E. "Snookie" Gaydosh, 70, of Marblehead, died Tuesday June 17, 2008 at The Toledo Hospital in Toledo. She was born March 22, 1938 in Sandusky, the daughter of Oscar and Irene (Bovia) Heminger. Dolores was a 1957 graduate of Lakeside High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Danbury. Surviving are her daughter Edie (Jonathan) Redfern of Dover, DE; son Jeff Gaydosh of Chicago, Ill; step son Donald (Trudy) Gaydosh of Port Clinton; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother John Heminger of Genoa; sisters Shirley Hartley of Norwalk and Phyllis Spencer of Williamsburg, VA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward in 1987; her parents; sisters Dorothy Francis and Rosemary Merckens and a brother Robert Heminger. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the Peninsula Chapel of the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, 7755 East Harbor Road, Marblehead. Additional visitation will be held from 10 am Friday until time of services at 11 am at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Danbury. The Rev. Chris Young will officiate. Burial will follow in Sackett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Marblehead Fire Department.
