Dolores B. Walterbusch

Dolores B. Walterbusch, 80, of Oak Harbor, died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born March 22, 1928 in Darke County, Ohio the daughter of the late Henry and Clara (Bruening) Schroeder. She married Wilbert Walterbusch on August 6, 1949 and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1999. Mrs. Walterbusch was the co-owner/operator of Walterbusch Vacation Trailorpark in Port Clinton. She loved to make homemade bread and applesauce. Dolores loved her soap operas and helping fold towels while at Riverview. She was an avid pinochle player who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church where she was active in the fall festival. Surviving are her children: Jerry (Sandi)Walterbusch, Gary (Jenny Crawford) Walterbusch both of Oak Harbor; Doris (Rodney) Tebay of Oak Harbor, Carol (Dennis) Woggon of Oak Harbor, Sharon (Lenny) Ball of Tennessee, Nancy Walterbusch of Oak Harbor; grandchildren: Leanne, Heidi and Michael Walterbusch, Daniel and Christopher Woggon; great-granddaughter: Erin Sutkus; one brother and three sisters. She was preceded in by her parents, husband, infant son: Joseph, one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor where visitation will be held Sunday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Rusha Cemetery, Carroll Township. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice, St. Boniface School or Riverview Health Care Campus.
