Dodi L. Hoover

Dodi L. Hoover, 51 of Rocky Ridge, OH died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born August 9, 1969 in Oregon, OH to the late Don R. and Elaine F. (Schlipf) DuPrae. She was a 1987 graduate of Oak Harbor High School and was a 17 year veteran of the Army Reserves. On June 25, 1994 she married her soul mate and best friend Daniel Z. Hoover. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge. Dodi enjoyed doing crafts, loved to bake and spend time with her family. Survivors include her husband Dan of Rocky Ridge; children: Cody Adams of Four Oaks, NC, Lawren (Adam) Parker of Fremont, OH, Galen DuPrae of Fremont, OH and Benjamin Hoover of Rocky Ridge; grandchildren Dakota Adams and Natalie Parker; brothers: Dana DuPrae, Damon DuPrae, Daron (Erin) DuPrae, and Derek (Meridith) DuPrae; and sister Dia (Richard) Reiner. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Lawrence Adams, and sister Donna DuPrae. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8pm at the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date as the Covid Pandemic restrictions ease. Memorial Contributions may be given to St. John Lutheran Church.
