Diane Louise Hermes

Diane Louise Hermes, 84 of North Highlands, CA died Monday, April 22, 2024 at her home under Hospice Care. She was born April 26, 1939 in Fremont, OH to the late George Atwood and Ellen (Bortel). She was a 1957 graduate of LaSalle High School, MI. On December 10, 1969 she married Robert L. Hermes who preceded her in death May 25, 2012. Diane was a Librarian for Village Elementary in North Highlands, CA. Diane loved reading to children, sewing, and watching her soap operas. She was a huge fan of Wizard of OZ and Gone with the Wind.

Survivors include her children: Drew, David, and Rena; grandchildren: Kimberly, William, Kayla, Kristopher, Alexis, Meaghan, Amber, Ashley, and Thomas; great-grandchildren: Bailey, Giovanni, Elizabeth, Maryann, Trinity, and Robert. She was also preceded in death by a brother David.

Graveside Services will begin at 11am Friday, May 24, 2024 at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont, OH under the direction of Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor.
