Dennis R. Gaddis

Dennis R. Gaddis, 57, of Port Clinton, OH died Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. He was born on August 11, 1948, in Washington D.C., a son of Leroy and Eldona (Burgraff) Gaddis. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War, and where he was employed as a contracts manager, retiring in 1998. He attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, and was a member of the Elks in Washington D.C. He loved the Port Clinton area and enjoyed walking along the beach with his dog. Survivors include his partner: Tom Clark, Port Clinton; father: Leroy Gaddis, Melbourne, Florida; daughter: Melanie (Howard) Koller, Olney, Maryland; grandchildren: Jordan & Austin James “AJ” Koller; brothers: Lawrence Gaddis, Potomac, Maryland; twin brother: Ronald (Judy) Gaddis, Aiken, South Carolina; Jerome (Monica) Gaddis, Wichita, Kansas; sister: Laraine (Robert) Roache, Hines, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eldona. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 9, 2005 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, with the Rev. Raymond Ensman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Neidecker- LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton.
