Dennis James Konicki

Dennis James Konicki, 66, of Lakeside, OH died Friday, October 31, 2014 at Southwest General Hospital, Brunswick, OH. He was born June 11, 1948 in Cleveland, OH the son of Frank and Christine A. (Misner) Konicki. He married Alice E. Drake on October 1, 1966 and she preceded him in death on July 26, 2002. Mr. Konicki retired in 2004 as the superintendant of the Ottawa County Sanitary Engineer Department. Surviving are his children: James Richard Konicki of Lakeside, Susan Elaine (Mark) Howard of Lakeside, Anne Marie (James) Hammerhofer of Lyndhurst, OH; granddaughter: Elaine Hammerhofer; sisters: Connie Mitchell of Brunswick, OH, Christy Christler of Brunswick, OH, Kay Rollo of Brunswick, OH Eileene Hadacheck of Brooklyn, OH; brother: Scott Konicki of Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brothers: Steve and Tony Konicki. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, LakesideMarblehead where visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm. Interment will be in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
