Dennis A. Taber

Dennis A. Taber, 69, of Oak Harbor died suddenly Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born in February 14, 1942 in Flat Rock, OH to the late Daryl and Helen (Stout) Taber. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Army. On March 6, 1970 he married the former Jane Floriana and she survives. Mr. Taber was a forklift operator for 32 years at Celotex in Port Clinton. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and racing, playing poker and his dogs. Survivors include his wife of 41 years Jane of Oak Harbor, son Ronald McDaniels (Julia Brown) of Oak Harbor; daughters: Rhonda McDaniels (Donald Murray) of Toledo, OH and Rhonda Bower of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Kenneth and Dustin Balduff, Kenn Bower, and Daniel Davenport; brother Daryl (Betty) Taber of Clyde, OH; sister Christie Simco of Clyde; step- brothers: Dick, Jerry, Don, Daryl, Robert, & Clinton Noftz. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 11 am at the Funeral Home.
