Denise Gibson

Denise L. Gibson, 52, of Port Clinton, OH passed away August 2, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic after a lengthy illness. She was born June 8, 1968 in Johnstown, PA the daughter of Ernest F. and Michele (Villa) Dudash, Jr. Denise earned her master’s degree in social work and previously was a guidance counselor at Rossford Schools and worked at Bay Shore Counselling. She was active in Playmakers Theatre and also Fremont Ice Wolves where her sons played hockey. Surviving are her sons: Dane Emigh and Colt Emigh both of Port Clinton; mother: Michele (Wayne) Shumaker of Saltsburg, PA; father: Ernest F. Dudash of Alum Bank, PA; sister: Robin M. Byrd of Greensburg, PA; half-sister: Holly Dudash of Scarboro, ME; half-brother: Justin Dudash of Chesapeake Beach, MD. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
