Denise A. "Niessy" Horne

Denise A. “Niessy” Horne, 57, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born January 9, 1964 in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Melvin G. and Katie (Covington) Blackburn, Sr. She was a 1982 graduate of Norwalk High School. She was a waitress at Crosswinds and previously worked at Travelers and Mel’s Crows Nest. She also previously worked at Magruder Hospital in the Dietary Department. Niessy loved to spend time with her grandkids and family and she was always the “Life of the Party”. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening with flowers. Surviving are her daughter: Natasha Webb of Toledo; step-son: Andre Webb of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Martez Wilson, Tiarra Wilson, Messiah Webb; twin sister: Diane (Thomas) Williamson of Sandusky; brothers: William P. (Dorothy) Blackburn of Elyria, Harvey L Blackburn of Elyria, Terry Blackburn of Las Vegas. NV; special friend Dwindal Webb of Port Clinton; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Melvin G. Blackburn, Jr. and Tim Blackburn. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Thursday, April 1 2021 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
