Delores M. Behlmer

Delores M. Behlmer, 89, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. She was born on July 5, 1922, a daughter of Christ & Luella (Genzman) Laubacher. On March 30, 1940, Delores married Myron Behlmer and he preceded her in death on April 7, 1984. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and travelling with the Oak Harbor Group. Delores was a member of the Fremont Y.M.C.A. where she swam regularly and enjoyed going out to eat with her friends there. She was a master at playing Rummy and enjoyed crafts and wood search puzzles. Delores was very family oriented and her most favorite pastime was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor. Surviving are her children, Carolyn (Thomas) Witt, Oak Harbor, and Kathryn (Jerry) Robertson, Thornton, Colorado; brothers, Christ Laubacher, Jr., Port Clinton, Ohio and Carroll (Joyce) Laubacher, Oak Harbor; sister, Faye (Joseph) Lochotzki, Oak Harbor; grandchildren, Julie (Brett) Smith, Lisa (Mike) Zimmerman, Matthew (Elisabeth) Robertson, and Adam (Dana) Robertson; great-grandchildren, Jason St. Clair, Josh St. Clair, Tyler Zimmerman, Emily Smith, Michaela Zimmerman, Ben Smith, Ellie Robertson, Jacob Robertson, Jaclyn Robertson, and Leah Kathryn Robertson; and sister-in-law, Violet Laubacher, Oak Harbor. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Myron, brothers, Oliver "Brick" Laubacher and Roger Laubacher; and sisters, Mary Krieger and Rhea Harder. The family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. Sunday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor, with Rev. David A. Voll and Pastor Kyle Timmons, officiating. Interment will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery.
