Delores E. Moore

Delores E. Moore, 90 of Sandusky and formerly of Port Clinton, OH died Monday, August 29, 2011 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky. She was born January 26, 1921 in Port Clinton, OH to the late William and Cora (Witt) Schling. On December 24, 1938 she married Ralph J. Moore who preceded her in death November 25, 1989. Ms. Moore was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor. She enjoyed animals, especially her dog, gardening and flowers. Delores loved to host big family dinners. Survivors include her children: Bonnie (Roger) Daniels of Port Clinton, Dennis L. (Carol) Moore of Arcadia, OH, and Diane (Gary) Sams of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren: Jennifer Reed, Jeffrey Daniels, Brian Daniels, Kevin Daniels, Kellie Moore, Jeffery Moore, Tricia Rollins, Cindy Volz, Shawn Sams and Todd Sams and 17 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters Thelma Soski and Infant Lois Schling. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Kyle Timmons officiating. Burial will be in Salem Twp. Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
