Delores "Dottie" Terry

Delores "Dottie" Terry, 90, of Catawba Island, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on November 18, 1927 in Independence, Ohio, the daughter of the late Dennis and Harriet (Stause) Clark. She married David W. Terry on July 26, 1947 and he preceded her in death on May 10, 1971. Dottie worked in the accounts receivable department at Ohio Eastern Express in Sandusky, Ohio until she accepted the job as church secretary at the former Grace Baptist Church, Port Clinton where she was also a faithful member. She was a follower of God, one with a strong faith who prayed and read her bible daily. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and loved each and every one of them. Survivors include her son, Daniel (Louise) Terry, Catawba Island; daughter, Debra (David) Morgan, Catawba Island; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sisters, Ruth Cormany and Barbara Clark, both of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, David M. Terry; and 3 brothers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio from 11 am until Funeral Services at 1 pm with Pastor Peter Dodd officiating. Burial will follow in Catawba Island Cemetery.
