Dellarose A. "Dee" Zilles

Dellarose A. "Dee" Zilles, 77, of Port Clinton, OH died Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH. She was born Feb. 8, 1938 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Erwin and Alvina (Gurtzweiller) Knott. She married Duane "Ed" Zilles on June 22, 1979 and he survives. Mrs. Zilles was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH and she loved collecting lighthouses. She worked for Port Clinton City Schools as a custodian for 25 years at Jefferson Elementary, she was a custodian at the Sandusky County Courthouse and she drove school bus for Fremont City Schools. Surviving are her husband: Ed; daughter: Deborah DePottey of Port Clinton; sons: Randy (Sherry) Witt of Port Clinton, Donald Edward Zilles, II of Colorado; grandchildren: Robert DePottey, Tammy Marek, Brian DePottey, Jamie Lynn DePottey, Crystal Lynn Knight, Jessica Miller, Casey Kellen, Lexy Custer; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Marlene (Robert) Goehring of Fremont, Diane (Fred) Dubbert of Port Clinton, LaVonne Knott of Findlay, OH; brothers: Gary Knott of Fremont, Craig Knott of Green Springs, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Monday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm. Interment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, 2602 Bogart Rd. Huron, OH. Rev. James Lehman will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the donor's choice.
