Deborah Ann Cable

Deborah Ann Cable, 72 of Elmore, OH passed away Wednesday, October 04, 2017 at Mercy- St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, OH surrounded by her family, following a brief illness. She was born June 28, 1945 in Fremont, OH to the late Dale and Donna (Wagner) Aspacher. Debbie graduated from Elmore High School, where she was the head Majorette for the marching band. On June 17, 1978 she married Donald Cable and he survives. Debbie and Don, with their family, raised Percheron Draft horses attending County fairs around the area. She retired from Woodmore High School in 1999 where she worked in the cafeteria and later in the school office. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Elmore. Family was most important to Debbie, she treasured family gatherings, playing cards, and spending time with her grandsons and their activities. She and her husband loved spending winters in Alabama golfing with many of their friends. She was a loving, caring, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by many. Survivors include her husband of 39 years Donald of Elmore; daughters: Rhonda (Todd) Pavlica of Graytown, OH and Melissa (Rod) Kohler of Wawasee, IN; sons: Paul Cable of Curtice, OH and Dean (Elena Duval) Cable of Holland, OH; grandchildren: Alexander and Ryan Pavlica, Jayce and Noah Kohler; brother David (Mary) Aspacher of Elmore, OH; many nieces, nephews, brother/sister- in- laws, and close friends. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8pm with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore- Genoa Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Elmore, OH with Rev. Stephen Lutz officiating. Burial will be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or American Cancer Society.
