Deborah A. Nelson

Deborah A. Nelson, 58, of Port Clinton, Ohio died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, Ohio. She was born on February 2, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Norma (Adler) Garber. She married Samuel Nelson on May 22, 1992 and he survives. Deb was employed at Wal Mart for the past 4 years as a customer service manager. She was an avid reader; enjoyed camping, loved her plants, was a skilled painter of pictures on canvas and slates, an animal lover, including her fish, birds, and her canine companions: Shebee, Max, and Joey. Most importantly, she loved her grandkids. Survivors include her husband: Sam; daughter: Kimberly (James) Beehler, Graytown, Ohio; son: Jedediah (Crystal) Wetzel, Helena, Ohio; step daughters: Alexis Kohlman, Port Clinton and Samantha Nelson, Marblehead, Ohio; six grandchildren: Johnathan, Abigail, Devin, Leigha, Emma, Kayden; sisters: Kathleen (William) Breau, Helena, Ohio; Jacqueline (Charles) Everly, Port Clinton; Mary (Paul Redder) Garber, Cleveland, Ohio; brothers: Michael (Lorna) Garber, Port Clinton and William (Melody) Garber, Toledo, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 2-8pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 10am at the funeral home with Father Daniel J. Ring officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
