David M. Terry

David M. Terry, 58, of Catawba Island, went into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ, on January 5, 2007. He was born on May 16, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of David W. & Delores (Clark) Terry. He worked at General Fabrications Corporation in Sandusky, OH as a Control Systems Engineer. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Port Clinton, where he was a Sunday school teacher, treasurer, and usher. He enjoyed flower gardening, woodworking, landscaping, and cooking. David is survived by his mother: Delores, brother: Daniel (Louise) Terry, of Catawba Island; sister: Debra (David) Morgan, of Catawba Island, 9 nieces & nephews & 13 great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Sunday, January 7 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 8 at Grace Baptist Church, 4650 E. Port Clinton Eastern Road where friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Reverend Peter Dodd will officiate, and interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family or to Grace Baptist Church.
