David F. Helle

David F. Helle, 69 of Graytown, OH died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born January 21, 1939 in Curtice, OH to the late Richard & Eileen (Klatt) Helle. David worked in the Water Department at Brush Wellman in Elmore where he retired after 41 years. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor where he had served on church council. A former member of the Oak Harbor Lions Club, he loved going to car shows. David had 2 cars himself which he showed. He liked to work outside and loved his cats. On February 14, 1959, he married the former Virginia Mays, and she survives. Also surviving are his sons, Jeffrey Helle of Houston TX, Mark (Sharon) Helle of Oak Harbor; daughter, Beth (Shawn) Wyble of Oak Harbor, OH; sister, Donna (Charles) Foss of Fremont, OH, and grandchildren, Amanda, Isaiah, Charity, Gabrielle, Jeremiah and Hannah. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dean Helle. Friends may call from 2-8 P.M. Tuesday at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where the family will be present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the funeral home with the Rev. David A. Voll officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
