David E. Dalenberg

David E. Dalenberg, 56, of Marblehead, died Monday July 14, 2008 at his residence. He was born November 13, 1951 in Mansfield, the son of Erwin C. and Margaret C. (Bauer) Dalenberg. David was the owner and operator of Captain Dave's Charters based in Marblehead. He was a social member and a member of the Men's Auxiliary of VFW Post 7572 of Marblehead. Surviving are his wife Karen (Jess) whom he married March 12, 1976; a sister Kathy (Mark) Armstrong of Clayton, OH; a brother Robert Dalenberg of Mansfield and many nieces and nephews. His parents and a brother Charles preceded David in death. At his request, there will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held 3 pm Thursday July 17th at the VFW Post 7572, 421 West Main Street, Marblehead with services conducted by the Men's Auxiliary. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. The Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Marblehead is assisting David's family with arrangements.
