Darling M. Mensing

Darling M. Mensing, 56 of Martin, OH died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at her home. She was born April 7, 1959 in Toledo, OH to Albert C. and Wynonia (Bath) Boss, JR. She was a 1977 graduate of Oak Harbor High School and earned her Bachelor of Education from the University of Toledo. On October 1, 1977 she married Charles Mensing and he survives. Darling worked at the OSU Extension Office in Oak Harbor as an S.N.A.P. Educator and was a member of Shoreline Church, Oak Harbor. She was a 4-H Club Advisor for the Clover Buds and loved her time at the Ottawa County Fair. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Charles Mensing of Martin, OH; children: Daniella (Alan) Scaia of Munroe Falls, OH, Tiffany (Justin Smith) Mensing of Newark, OH, Lindi Mensing of Perrysburg, OH, Lesli (Timothy Weldy) Mensing of Perrysburg, OH, Brittany (Chris Hummer) Mensing of Toledo, OH, BriAnna Mensing of Martin, OH and Micah Mensing of Martin, OH; grandchildren: Trent & Quinn Scaia, Jayden Smith, Amelia Hummer, and Raelynn Mensing; mother Wynonia Boss of Graytown, OH, sister Davina (Dale) Gulau of Graytown, OH, brother DuWain Boss of New Palestine, IN, and father and mother- in- law Frank and Pat Mensing of Oak Harbor, OH. She was preceded in death by her father Albert C. Boss, Jr. Visitation will be 2-8pm Sunday at Shoreline Church, 769 N. Locust St., Oak Harbor, OH 43449. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Church with Pastor Bill Blue officiating. Burial will be in Elliston Cemetery.
