Darcy J. Finke, 49, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on March 5, 1967, the daughter of Dennis & Marsha (Cluckey) Finke. Darcy was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School and attended Vanguard Vocational Center in Fremont, Ohio. A medical assistant for Ralph W. Peters, MD in Fremont, she also was care giver for several home health care services. She was a member of the "NBSL" which is a local pool league and was a member of the Cancer Survivors Coalition. Darcy was well known for her love of the color purple and for entertaining on her porch. She also enjoyed drawing and other art related activities. Darcy is survived by her father, Dennis Finke, Oak Harbor; her children, Rachel Fritz and Hannah Fritz, both of Oak Harbor and Jacob Fritz, Clyde, Ohio; brother, David Finke, Oak Harbor; and grandmother, Evelyn Finke, Lakeside, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marsha Finke; grandfather, William Finke and grandparents, Evelyn Smith and Bertell Cluckey. Friends are invited to call from 2-8 P.M. Wednesday at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 165 Toussaint Street, Oak Harbor, where friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Thursday. Rev. David A. Voll will officiate, and interment will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Darcy Jo Finke Memorial Trust Fund in care of Croghan Colonial Bank, 147 W. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH 43449.
