Daniel W. Lyons

Daniel W. Lyons, 63, of Marblehead, OH and formerly of Medina County passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born Jan. 26, 1954 in Cleveland, the son of James P. and Ilse (Weber) Lyons. He married Vicki Salmons on May 7, 1977 and she survives. Dan was a letter carrier for 28 years at the Marblehead Post Office retiring in 2016. He was a member of the N.R.A and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and tinkering in his garage with his son. Surviving are his wife of 40 years: Vicki; son: Patrick (Lacey Meyer) Lyons of Marblehead; grandson: Riddock J. Lyons; mother: Ilse Lyons of Freeport, OH; sister: Patricia Murphy of Grand Junction, Colorado and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father: James P. Lyons and brother Marty Lyons. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Memorial services will be held in the funeral home at 2:00 pm Saturday Jan. 20, 2018 followed by a luncheon at Grace Baptist Church/The Chapel, 4650 E.
