Daniel J. Kowal

Daniel J. Kowal, 43, of Catawba Island, died Saturday at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. He was born July 4, 1962 in Sandusky, the son of Peter and Marjorie (Booth) Kowal. He was employed by the City of Sandusky and was a member of the AFSCME Local 1519. Surviving are his brother, Pete (Stephanie) Kowal of Catawba Island and two nephews Quincy and Cooper Kowal. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Ann Marie. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 East Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, with the Rev. Ralph Yoss officiating.
