Dale Wohlers

Dale Wohlers, 91, of Danbury, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Bucyrus Hospital. He was born December 14, 1917 in Danbury Township the son of John and Nora (Going) Wohlers. He married Josephine Schlagheck on June 24, 1944 and she preceded him in death on April 21, 2001. Mr. Wohlers was farmer and a lifelong plumber. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury where he was active in caring for the cemetery, installing and maintaining the plumbing and he was a member of the church dart ball team. He and his wife wintered in Englewood, FL for many years. Surviving are his son: Allan "Porky" Wohlers of Port Clinton; daughter: Shirley (Frank) Myers of Bucyrus; grandchildren: Mark Myers of Denver, CO, Matthew Myers of Columbus, OH and Bryon Wohlers of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his brother Harold Wohlers. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Friday, April 3, 2009 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside--Marblehead, OH. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery.
