Dale W. Tusen

Dale W. Tusen, 37 of Port Clinton, OH died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 as the result of a traffic accident in Port Clinton, OH. He was born October 6, 1975 in Fremont, OH to Steven L. Tusen and Marjorie (Knotts) Tusen-Kelly. He was a 1994 graduate of Oak Harbor High School, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1999 from Ohio Northern University, where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. On July 22, 2000 he married the former Heather Wilburn and she survives. Dale was a Pharmacist for Wal-Mart in Port Clinton. He was a member of the Oak Harbor Alliance Chapel, where he served as an Elder of the Church. He enjoyed cycling, his church and his family. Survivors include his wife Heather and 3 children Hayley, Lyndsay and Nickolas Tusen all of Port Clinton; father Steven (Leah) Tusen of Port Clinton; mother Marjorie (John) Kelly of Curtice, OH; sisters: Dawn (Daniel ) Hughes of Auburn, WA, Holly (Kevin) Spencer of Findlay, OH, Julie Balduf of Sumter, SC, and Mary (Jim) Hutton of Port Clinton, OH; paternal grandmother Norma Tusen of Fremont, OH; maternal grandmother Lavon Ray of Maumee, OH; father and motherin-law Richard and Carol Wilburn of Oak Harbor; brother and sisterin-law Shawn and Melissa Biggs; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Arthur and Gertrude Risch and William Tusen. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8pm with the family present 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the Oak Harbor Alliance Chapel with Pastor Paul Miller officiating. Burial will be in Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
